Google maps

Now here is a nice new feature for the GPS that I really love. I received a newsletter about my TomTom1 that said you can find things in Google Maps and port them to your GPS. Craned up the Maps but no button was there for the feature. Connect the TomTom to the lappy and got a new software version and there it was. Very handy indeed. Especially when travelling outback.

If you have updated software for your GPS, go to Google maps and find the business or address you are chasing. At the top of the page hit the Send to option and you can choose between email and your TomTom. Put it in favourites in your unit.
